Night Off!

Well, we (Benjamin, Rachel and I) took the night off from church tonight. We had our morning service and the deacons (Kevin) and their families (us) stayed for a nice lunch. I came home with the kids and the deacons stayed for their yearly budget meeting. We probably got home around 1:20. I immediately put Rachel down for a nap, but that didn't happen. I finally got her up around 3:30 after she played, talked, cried, sang, etc. for two hours. (By the way, she woke up early this morning as well) So anyway, Kevin called when they had a break and I told him that I didn't think we could come, but he would need to find a ride home. Rachel was so touchy (her feelings) all night. I am glad we didn't go.

Been A While

I know, I know, I know, I know it has been a while since I posted (like over a month). I choose to use my free hours to catch up on TV (Survivor, Bones, Heroes, Etc.). Anyway, I thought I would post a few pictures from this last month.

Well, I am still trying to do some great creations with Rachel's long blonde hair. Some of these may be repeats, but here ya go:

Here are some cute pictures of Benjamin and Rachel wrestling together on the floor.

We went on our yearly couples retreat to The Wild's in North Carolina. Donald and Tina Golden (see Golden Goodness) went with us. Here they are on the 10 hour long bus drive. I didn't take nearly enough pictures. I always forgot to bring my camera with me. I need a new one anyway. I can never tell how the picture comes out since I am having to go "old school" and look through the view finder. AHHHHH! I miss my digital pictures on the little screen.

Here are Benjamin and Rachel at the pumpkin patch picking out one of their very own.

I think that pumpkin might have been a little heavy for Rachel.

And now on to the Fall Festival events. We had a Fall Fest at our church on Wednesday, Oct 29th where the kids had games to play during our Master Club time. They also were able to dress up in any non-scary costume. On Friday night, we went to Donald and Tina's church for their annual Fall Festival. Here are some pictures of Benjamin, Rachel and Ella and Evan (Donald and Tina's kids).

Well, that was October. Hopefully I will do better in November.
