Thunder

I am just sitting here in bed working on my laptop and listening to one of my favorite sounds..... THUNDER! I love the rumble and roll of it all. I guess I also like the way it makes me stop and appreciate the great control God has over nature and how blessed I am to have a roof over my head. Just a thought.

We (well mainly my husband) are University of Memphis fans and they made it past the elite eight to the final four.

I know some of you won't believe this, but I did acually watch part of the game.

Weekly Summary

Well, I will get better at this as I go along, but here is my weekly update of what we have been up to. My son Benjamin has been on Spring Break this week, so we have been very busy. I work at home on Monday and Tuesday, so we didn't do much of on those days.
Wednesday we went with my friend Tina and her kids, Ella and Evan, to Pump it Up (facility that has big inflatable slides, obstacle courses, wrestling rings, etc) and then went to McD's for lunch.
Thursday we went to the zoo. It was overcast and a little windy, but otherwise it was really nice. Rachel (2 years old) loved seeing the animals. Her favorite were the monkey's. They were crazy.
Friday we went to see Horton Hears A Who at the movie theater. Both of the kids really enjoyed the movie.
All in all, we had a good week. In between all the fun, we played lots of computer games and Super Mario Galaxy on the Wii.

Here we are on Easter Sunday after we had an easter egg hunt with our cousins, Zoe, Alaina and Emory.

Blog Starter

Well, this is my first blog, so everyone bare with me. My friend Tina started her page some time ago and I acutally opened one at the same time, but didn't have the time to figure out the settings, layouts, etc. Well, recently she stated in her own blog that she helped a few friends with their layout, so I jumped on board. I would like to use this blog to help friends and family members keep up with what we are doing and hopefully my children will love to see their pictures on here as well. I will probably not be as dedicated as Tina and write something everyday, but I do hope to attempt at least once a week if not more.
